I figured most of you thought that I had died somewhere along the way. Nope... I'm still kicking. I don't even know if I will do this blog any justice with an update. But, here's a shot in the dark. The craft fair at Old Fashion Christmas... was. It just was. Sold some things, but in the end, my mind is calm when I say that I don't know if this selling jewlery is for me. Think I'll make some, give it away, and repeat the process. Nonetheless.... fun day was had. Finally figured out how I was getting home to Louisiana for Christmas. Tim's cousins are driving down from Ohio and will stop along the way and pick me up. I'll be dropped off and the parents will cart me around until Tim comes in a few days later. Can't wait to see everyone.
This working two jobs thing is kinda sweet.. with the money and experience, but it is taking a toll on my sinuses and my body. I'm just worn out. Don't know how much longer I can do it.
Tim's job is going well.... and we are in the process of saving up money. Hopefully, we won't have to take out loans for tuition. Which reminds me. Can't believe the time has come for re-applying. Continue to pray that the Lord's will is done and that we can find out what it is that we need to be doing. Until then, know that I love you.

i'm "gorged"...
the weekend was quite a success. got a call from the nursing home to work in winchester. the money was sweet and it is always fun to work some place new for the day. after a good day of work there, traveled a little further to the red river gorge. tim already had the tent set and i was just in time to do some hiking with the group. here are some pictures from the gorge.

in other news, my sweeter than sweet sister in law jill is pregnant! wish i was there to give her a big hug. always thought we would be living in the same town when one of us was pregnant. ahh well... can't wait to see her and micah.
glad to have the day off, got my vote in, and the house is clean. mom and dad, be careful driving to st. augustine today... and give thomas a kiss for me! know that i love you.

Suit and Tie
Tim had a job interview today. Hope all goes well. The Lord has been on our side the entire way, and I can't wait to see what He has in store for us now. Stop reading this and say a quick prayer for us. Thanks! Know that I love you!
Funny quote from today:
Me asking a kid..."So why is it okay for you to stand next to someone who has a broken leg, but not someone who has a cold?"
Response: "Okay, I know this one. Because you can't catch a cold when you have a broken leg!"

Mums the word
Bought mums today. Think that is the quint-essential sign of fall. Hope I just used that word correctly. My lips have also been chapped consistently. Fall is definitely here. Played volleyball at the Van Horn's this weekend and the weather was perfect. Played hard, no sweat.
I got my own office at work and have been excited to get in it and treat kids. I work so much harder in that room. This is all just some filler info so that I can post this picture that you all have been dying to see. Thanks Jill for the shirt... "I've been horsing around in Kentucky." Know that I love you.

First Down Ken..tucky!
The game was a success. We didn't know where to park or even where the stadium was, but we drove Tim's bike, parked within 1/2 mile of the stadium, and felt like a true UK fan. Thanks to Keysha, the tickets were sweet and right in the middle of the Med Student section. People all around us were getting all philosophical but Tim and I just wanted to watch some FOOTBALL! To top it all off, I ran into a lady that I used to work with at the nursing home. Very cool.
Next order of business, I fly home in 19 days. Thrilled! And on another note, the handyman put in all new windows so I can sleep through the night without hearing the wind chimes or the mutt across the street.
I went a while without shaving my legs. Well, I had this plan to not shave my legs until Tim got a job, thinking that would be some sort of motivation. Jokes on me I suppose. Tim is getting closer to a job, but I have been forced to wear jeans and shirts with sleeves. This wasn't a problem until the heat of the game could have been lessen by rolling up my jeans. The legs have been shaved, and now I am just left to clean the bathtub of all the hair. BAD IDEA!
It's windy here... and I think I might nap now. Football does that to me. Know that I love you.

i like this new life style we have up here. think we could have done things like this in la, just never took the time, i suppose. we put up a clothes-line, went to the farmer's market, and have cooked fantastic foods using the following ingredients: rhubarb, silken tofu, and edamame.
not much to blog about. too busy getting ready to go to the UK football game.
how often does this happen? this was a couple of days ago at the corman's. ENJOY!

back.. with more time
church was a success...
just a little history. a few weeks ago, i was searching for a new vera bradley pattern to add to my collection. so, i took it as a sign when i saw karen taylor with the bag i had been craving. it took me weeks to get this out of my head, and was thrilled when she said i could borrow it from her. then to top all of this off, she suprised me with my own little piece of yellow bird heaven. thanks mrs. taylor.
speaking of people giving, mrs. ann dotterweich knew of our vegan nature and thought we might enjoy this. it's a natural burger mix from the good foods co-op. i assume it will resemble a boca burger. can't wait to try it out. included in the gift, was organic ramen- can't wait to try it either.

eggplant parmesan was eaten for lunch, but i think it took second place to the saints game on tv.
here a few pictures from the past weeks. includes our adventures to the farmer's market, labor day festivities, jewlery, and meals! enjoy and know that i love you...
